The X Final of the National Championship “Worldskills Russia” was held from 8th to 12th of September on Mordovia Arena in Saransk. The tester from BYTEX company Daniil Fomin has become the best in the nomination“Gaming software testing specialist”.
Today we want to introduce the youngest member of BYTEX team to you. It is Lyova Rubanov! He is not an ordinary teenager. However, he likes Marvel superheroes like all children of his age. Also he adores Ninjago and he is a supporter of the football club Zenit. He likes walking in his hometown and, of course, he loves computer games like all of us.

We have decided to introduce two artists from BYTEX team simultaneously. It’s interesting that not only they started working in our company at the same time but they also got on the same project. They quickly noticed art-books and pencils in each other’s hands and, indeed, became friends very fast. Today they chat, share their experience and work on joint projects.

Last week the Bytex team was noted at a high level again. This was announced by Dmitry Karasev, CEO of the leading IT company in the region. “Our company was noted by the Head of the Republic of Mordovia – we received an Honorary Diploma of the Head of the Republic of Mordovia for achieving high results in the field of information technology. Congratulations to all employees!” he wrote in a corporate chat.
November 20th the results of the Republic children’s competition of Saransk and Republic of Mordovia tourists sights recreation by means of video game ”Minecraft” were summed up. The event was aimed at increasing the tourist attractiveness of the region. Along with the game, the competition also included a local history component, which allowed the participants to show their knowledge of the history of their native city and region.

On August 5, as part of the celebration of the 20th anniversary of the canonization of the Holy Righteous warrior Fyodor Ushakov, naval interactive battles were held among eSportsmen in the World of Warships discipline.
The event was attended by specialists from the IT industry, representatives of the education system and relevant ministries. BYTEX employees and invited guests held a series of lectures on game development and game design. Issues of interaction and cooperation between educational platforms and business were also discussed during the meeting.
June 24, our specialists held the first lecture of our exclusive course in Higher School of Business Informatics.
“Testing lectures from bytex in hsbi”
Last May our department of internal education, called Bytexclass has gone into action. Here we train our newcomers the basis of their new profession.
The course includes three lectures: An introduction, where people are taught what the bug is, types of testing and its’ approaches, a lecture of web-testing and a lesson on test documentation. Each of them is provided with practice, based on company’s real projects. The course is also free to visit for any of our employees.
Besides, we have training events from professionals of the industry. We have already hosted representatives of world’s biggest companies and will definitely try to make such events more frequent.
All our workers already know Alina. She is our English teacher. Alina has got 7 classes with general amount of 78 students. They all are separated into groups, dependent on their basic knowledge and are taught for free.
Classes are provided with Lenovo AIO.
Our next step is to set up a chain of advanced courses, on which our employees will be taught peculiarities of testing: from advanced knowledge of databases to working with test-automatization tools.
